Subject: Auto Break-Ins; Fall Festival Reminder
Date Sent: September 21, 2011

Today three of our neighbors reported to me that their vehicles were entered by unknown person(s) last night.  In all three cases, items from glove compartments and consoles were rummaged and strewn about.  In one case, coins for parking were taken.  In another, trunks were opened as well. These incidents appear to be opportunistic break-ins for the purpose of theft.

It is advisable to keep your vehicles and homes locked.  Report any such incidents or suspicious activity to the police non-emergency number.

On a more upbeat note, please remember mark your calendar for the Fall Festival on October 16, at 4pm.  It will be a great event.  More details to follow.

Finally, some of you may have received solicitations for contributions from the Bannockburn Community Club and/or the Bannockburn Civic Association. You are of course free to do so, but please understand that these organization are separate from and not related to our Bannockburn Citizens Association. You might want to check our website to refresh your recollection as to our neighborhood boundaries:

Best wishes,
