Subject: Thursday BCA Meeting & Event at Maggiano's
Date Sent: September 8, 2014

Hello. I hope you are enjoying the great summer weather.

Thursday, September 11 meeting: Please join us at our next Bannockburn Citizens Association (BCA) meeting on Thursday, September 11 at 7:30 PM at St. Marks.

As always, the meeting will be an opportunity to visit with your neighbors, discuss BCA activities, and pass along news and comments. We would particularly like to welcome new neighbors.

As previously reported, BCA has teamed up with N2 Publications to form a new relationship that will include a monthly magazine and various community events. The BCA Board is working with Timothy Beam and Amanda Frasure at N2 Publications, who will discuss the new magazine at our September 11 meeting. We are excited about this new relationship.

Events: As part of this new neighborhood outreach in conjunction with N2, we have planned the following event: Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EDT) Maggiano's, Chevy Chase Pavilion 5333 Wisconsin Ave NW, Washington, DC 20015

This is an opportunity to meet neighbors over a happy hour theme with hors d'oerves. Maggiano's will pick up the cost of food, the only cost to guests is gratutiy and alcohol. Reservations are required and space is limited. When spots are filled, we start a wait list and will notify you if space becomes available. If you wish to attend this event please RSVP to me, Timothy Beam and Amanda Frasure.

We have planned a second event on October 2nd, 6 pm at Markhams,7141 Wisconsin Ave, Bethesda, MD 20814. More on that later. Dues for 2014 were due on January 1. You can pay via PayPal on our website, or you can send your check for $30 (or more) payable to Bannockburn Citizens Association to Bonnie Garrett, BCA Treasurer, 6604 Broxburn Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817.

Best wishes,
Ted Garrett,
BCA President
