Airport Noise/Hearing on Thursday
Since March 2016, Bannockburn has been affected by flight corridor changes at National Airport (DCA). Low altitude, loud aircraft fly daily over our neighborhood.
Our neighbor Cecily Abram has brought to our attention that the FAA is proposing additional changes. The changes "will increase and exacerbate conditions for communities already impacted by flight path changes implemented in December 2015," according to Ken Hartman, Director of the Montgomery County B-CC Regional Office.
Members of the community have an opportunity to be heard at a community meeting with Montgomery County representatives and the FAA re changed flight corridors from DCA and proposed changes that will negatively impact Bannockburn:
